Douglas Gould grew up near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He attended Vermont Law School from 1993 until 1996. Mr. Gould distinguished himself while at law school by becoming a Note Editor for the Vermont Law Review and co-founded the School’s Criminal Law Group and Trial Advisory Board.
Attorney Gould has extensive litigation experience
In 1996, he joined the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office in Norristown, Pennsylvania where he served for nearly five years. During his time in the Office, he served on the Narcotics Enforcement Unit, Sex Crimes Unit and Major Crimes Unit.
While with the Office, Doug was responsible for conducting bench and jury trials and handled hundreds of evidentiary hearings and oral arguments.
In 2001, Doug left the Office to become an associate with Pizonka, Reilley, Bello & McGrory, P.C. in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania where he handled both civil and criminal matters for six years. In 2006, Doug was appointed as a solicitor to the Montgomery County Office of Domestic Relations where he was responsible for the prosecution of innumerable contempt proceedings. In 2007, Doug formed the Law Offices of Douglas T. Gould where he focused on commercial transactions, commercial litigation and family law matters.
Doug and his wife, Christina, visited Sanibel annually for twelve years. They made the decision to move to Sanibel Island in 2017 with their daughter, Reagan. Doug was admitted to the Florida Bar on December 21, 2018, and joined Linde Law Group on January 24, 2019. Doug has brought twenty-one years of trial and litigation experience to the firm. Since joining the firm, Doug has applied his experience to estate and trust litigation, guardianships and estate and trust administration. Doug became a shareholder of the firm on July 1, 2024, and the firm name was change to Linde, Gould and Associates.
