Ryan G. Welker was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. He graduated cum laude from The Ohio State University in 2008 and cum laude from Capital University Law School in 2011. Admitted to practice law in Ohio in 2011, Ryan extended his practice to Florida in 2023.
Estate Planning and Guardianship Experience: Ryan's interest in estate planning and guardianship began during his law school years while working as a law clerk for a small firm. This early experience laid the foundation for his career. After obtaining his Ohio law license, Ryan worked as an associate at several firms that limited their practice to estate planning, guardianship, and long-term care planning. These roles honed various skills he continues to utilize.
Eventually, Ryan established his own practice, focusing almost exclusively on guardianship, estate planning, and long-term care planning. His clientele primarily came through referrals from other attorneys and past clients, a testament to his proficiency and reputation.
Recognizing a significant need for these services, Ryan has been dedicated to addressing this demand both in Ohio and Florida. He recently chaired the Columbus (Ohio) Bar Association’s Probate Committee, where he organized monthly meetings, brought diverse perspectives, and offered professional opinions on proposed legislation. Additionally, Ryan has presented Continuing Legal Education (CLE) sessions on Medicaid and long-term care issues and has been invited to speak to various organizations.
Ryan is married to his high-school sweetheart, and together they have a beautiful teenage daughter. The family first visited Florida after Ryan's graduation from Ohio State University in 2008. Initially unfamiliar with the state, they eventually discovered Naples, falling in love with its charm. They frequently vacation there, creating cherished family memories over the years, including their honeymoon at a well-known beach resort. This dynamic trio has come down to Naples, Florida ever since, making it a central part of their lives and family memories.
Given their deep connection to Naples, the decision for Ryan to practice law in Florida was a natural one. Ryan brings over 12 years of experience to Linde, Gould & Associates, primarily focusing on guardianship, estate planning, and long-term care planning. He looks forward to helping the firm advocate for their clients.
